FYI, Mukha has been around in TTDI in the same row as Maybank and Al-Bidayah for a number of years (according to their website – since 2011). I believe it was renovated not too long ago as some of the older mentions of this cafe has a different interior.
Anyway, I have been to Mukha a few times this year as it is near my workplace. The food selection there has a tantalizingly choice mix of fusion with Middle Eastern influences. The food comprises a selection of sourdough breads to cakes and mains such as Breakfast set, Shakshuka, Lamb shawarma, Gulf rice and Pasta.
I have been there a few times with my colleagues as a group gathering place and it has a nice ambience and even a big long table for gatherings. Call ahead to book first if you have a large group.
The food and drinks I have tried are pretty good and may warrant another visit soon. Have a look at the pictures below and decide for yourself if its worth a visit 🙂
Interestingly, from their website, found out that Mukha is a non-profit setup sustained by 75% cafe or retail proceeds and 25% sponsorship from the community.
Do go and drop by Mukha if you are ever in the TTDI vicinity.
