Food blog : Ho Yee Kee (@ Tanjong Malim)

Looking for a Chinese restaurant with a hometown feel in Tanjong Malim? Look no further than Ho Yee Kee! My family and I happened on this local restaurant while on the way to Ipoh. It was a decision not regretted 🙂

One of the dishes at Ho Yee Kee is their Hong Kong chee cheong fun. The silky smooth rice rolls are generously filled with tender shrimp and savory meat, then drenched in a sweet and savory sauce. It’s a dish that will keep you coming back for more.

Another dish available is the chicken rice. The rice coupled with chicken and char siew were tasteful and enough portion for single person to finish.

For those with a sweet tooth, Ho Yee Kee also offers a variety of pastries. The buns are nicely toasted, with a traditional and a rich, buttery and kaya filled taste. It’s the perfect way to end a satisfying meal.

The atmosphere at Ho Yee Kee is cozy and welcoming, with friendly staff who will make you feel right at home. And with affordable prices, it’s a great spot to visit for a casual meal with family and friends.

Overall, Ho Yee Kee is a hidden gem of a restaurant in Tanjong Malim that should not be missed. Their chee cheong fun, drinks, buns and pastries are sure to delight any foodie. So why not plan a visit and try it out for yourself 🙂
