Food blog : Big Singh Chapati (@ TTDI)

Big Singh Chapati in Taman Tun Dr Ismail is a small, unassuming Indian restaurant that packs a big punch when it comes to taste and affordability. The first time I went to was the branch in Subang Jaya (you can refer to the addresses of both branches at the end of this blog) and it piqued my interest in Indian food cuisine.

One of the standouts in Big Singh Chapati is the set lunches available on weekdays. The prices of the ala-carte is also reasonable like tandoori chicken, lamb or paneer. The portion size is generous and perfect for sharing with friends and family. For me, I have always come in a large group so we can share together.

A must-try is the Butter Chicken, which is rich and creamy, with just the right balance of spices. The chicken is tender and juicy, and the gravy is perfect for soaking up with a fresh, hot naan bread.

The Garlic Naan is another crowd pleaser, with its fluffy texture and garlicky aroma. It’s the perfect accompaniment to any of the curries on the menu.

What sets Big Singh Chapati apart is their affordable prices. You can easily have a filling meal for two people for under RM30. Plus, the staff are friendly and attentive, making for a pleasant dining experience.

Overall, Big Singh Chapati is a great spot for those looking for delicious Indian cuisine at a reasonable price. It’s perfect for a quick lunch break or a cozy dinner with friends and family.
