Food blog : Hoshino Coffee (@ Empire Subang)

Hoshino Coffee in Empire mall, Subang has a unique ambience and a menu which is unlike other coffee chains. The ambience is more akin to an European-luxury-like setting than a traditional coffee setting.

The restaurant itself features a fusion mix of Japanese and Western styles. According to its website (link below), it was founded in 2011 by Nippon Restaurant System and Doutor Coffee which has a lot of outlets in Japan. Their specialty coffee is in hand-dripped coffee with premium Arabica coffee beans. They have around 5 outlets now (2 in Penang and 3 in KL).

The display of the sample menu in the front of their outlet depicts a nice variety and tempting-tantalizing selection. That was one of the reasons that attracted me and my family to try it out in Empire Shopping Gallery.

Tried the Japanese curry rice and kids set (which is pasta carbonara if i remember right). Both were alright.

So if you have not tried out the Hoshino Coffee outlet in Empire, do schedule some time if you are around the Subang area.

It has a nice, bright exterior and interior with a typical HK style (e.g. Kim Gary and others). The food is generally great and drinks were nice. Nice place […]
