The Bread Bar (@ TTDI)

The Bread Bar is an interesting concept cafe that was opened in late 2021, just right before Christmas. Due to its far back location in TTDI (behind Al-Bidayah and CIMB all the way to the back), it was a walking exercise for me and my colleagues whenever we wanted to go try out the breads and lunch there.

Though the main entrance was a bit bland (refer to cover picture), the interior was a stylish bakery bar style with two large counters (one for the various sourdough breads and pastries, and another for drinks).

Here are some of the food we tried there. The food was mainly delightful and pricey (upwards of RM 20 with no lunch set).

  • Roasted sweet potato hummus
  • Seared spiced chicken
  • Signature grilled cheese sandwich
  • Sourdough quiche slice
  • Chicken ham sandwich

Overall, I would come again for lunch and to get some of the sourdough breads to try for my family next time.
