Food blog : Nanyang Cafe (@ Sunway Pyramid)

Lately, cafes such as Nanyang Cafe has been opening a number of outlets. The very first one I came across was in EkoCheras during the lockdown and the latest one I have tried is the Sunway Pyramid outlet. There is another new outlet in Pavillion Bukit Jalil (and probably other shopping malls too).

In the Sunway Pyramid outlet, you can get a nice view of the Sunway Lagoon amidst enjoying the food and drinks. Be warned though, from what I have observed, the queue can sometimes be quite long and starts as early as 10am even before they have opened.

While the food is pricy, the the ambience is cosy and taste is acceptable. Some of those I have tried include Pineapple bun, Prawns and Wonton Tossed Noodle, Luncheon meat sandwich and drinks such as Black coffee and Milk tea.

Overall for me, with the opening a lot of similar cafes recently, there is nothing much to shout about as it is the normal fare and nothing exceptional. But its worth at least one visit for the family and yourself if you haven’t tried it out.
